Tata Motors has officially announced to launch the Altroz facelift in the country on May 21, 2025. The updated model has been caught numerous times doing test rounds on the Indian roads. Going by the spy images, it is visible that the 2025 Tata Altroz facelift will receive significant design changes and more premium interior.
The spy images reveal that the updated Altroz will receive design changes. It will have revised dual-pod headlights, which shows the brand’s signature eyebrow-style LED daytime running lights. The hatchback will have new front bumper with new air dams, and new housing for fog lamps.
The side profile will look largely identical to the existing model, except for the couple of changes. It will have newly styled 16-inch alloy wheels, while the front doors will have flush-type door handles. However, the rear door handles will be placed on the C-pillar. The updated model is likely to receive revised LED tail-lights, which can be connected by a light bar. It is also likely to get a modified rear bumper.
Inside the cabin, the Altroz facelift is likely to receive new upholstery for seats and door trims. The hatchback could also receive a revised dashboard layout with more premium inserts. It is expected to get the new two-spoke multi-functional steering wheel with the illuminated Tata logo, which we have already seen on the new Tata Nexon.

The hatchback is likely to be offered with the existing engine options including a 1.2L NA petrol and a 1.5L turbo diesel. The NA petrol engine is capable of producing 86bhp and 115Nm of torque, and is offered with either a 5-speed manual and a 6-speed DCT.
It will also come with a CNG fuel option. In the CNG mode, the engine produces 72bhp and 103Nm, and is paired to a 5-speed manual gearbox. Tata could also offer an AMT gearbox option with the CNG variant.
The 1.5L turbo diesel engine is capable of producing 89bhp and 200Nm of torque. Power is transmitted to the front wheels via a 5-speed manual gearbox. It is early to comment whether Tata will add an automatic gearbox option with the diesel variant or not.
The 2025 Tata Altroz facelift is likely to be priced in the range of Rs 6.75 lakh to Rs 11.50 lakh, ex-showroom. It will rival the likes of the Hyundai i20, Maruti Baleno and Toyota Glanza.
