Volkswagen India globally reveals Virtus sedan for India. Customers can now pre-book the new upcoming mid-size sedan prior to its launch.
Volkswagen India launched its Virtus sedan in the country today (March 8), becoming the brand's second vehicle under the India 2.0 Initiative. New Volkswagen Virtus, which is based on the company's MQ AO IN platform, succeeds the Vento as the company's primary mid-size sedan offering in the country. When launched, it will compete against the likes of the Maruti Suzuki Ciaz, Hyundai Verna, and Honda City in its segment. 2022 New Volkswagen Virtus is expected to be priced between Rs 10 lakhs - Rs 17 lakh (ex-showroom). Having showcased the vehicle today, the German automaker also announced pre-bookings for the four-wheeler.
2022 All New Volkswagen Virtus Exterior Design:
2022 New Volkswagen Virtus features an upmarket and premium exterior design. The front profile offers sleek wraparound headlights, chrome finished grille and bumper. Talking about the silhouette, it is identical to the Skoda Slavia while the rear profile will come equipped with wraparound tail-lights and a clean bumper design. Top of the line variant of the Virtus will be christened as GT which will offer plenty of black design elements in order to differentiate it from the regular trims available in the model line-up.
2022 All New Volkswagen Virtus Interior:
New Volkswagen Virtus will offer a feature loaded interior. Some of the key highlights here would include a 10.1-inch touchscreen information display with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, a fully digital instrument cluster, wireless charging, automatic climate control, electric sunroof, automatic wipers, rear AC vents, cruise control, auto headlamps, and more.

2022 All New Volkswagen Virtus Engine Specifications:
2022 New Virtus sedan will provide two petrol powertrain options. A 1.0-litre TSI unit and a 1.5-litre TSI petrol mill. The former produces a maximum power output of 113 bhp with 178 Nm torque, while the latter delivers 150 bhp power and 250 Nm torque. Both engines will be paired to a 6-speed manual transmission. As for the automatic gearbox choices, the 1.0-litre TSI engine will provide a torque converter while the 1.5-litre TSI unit will come equipped with an advanced 7-speed DSG transmission.
2022 All New Volkswagen Virtus Safety Features:
Safety equipment on board this mid-size sedan would include elements like ABS, EBD, 6 airbags, a reverse camera, a tyre pressure monitoring system, rear parking sensors, and traction control.

2022 All New Volkswagen Virtus Colour Options:
All-New Volkswagen Virtus will be made available in 6 different colour options. These include Candy White, Carbon Steel Grey, Wild Cherry Red, Curcuma Yellow, Reflex Silver and Rising Blue Metallic.
