We had just reported that Hyundai Motor India is slated to launch the Creta Facelift in India by early 2024. Now, the latest media suggests that the automaker will also unveil the Creta N Line around the same time. It will become the third N Line model in the country, following the i20 N Line and Venue N Line. We now take a closer look.
Hyundai’s N-Line models typically have a sportier appearance than their standard versions. While the upcoming Creta N Line is yet to be revealed, expect it to feature the same styling cues as the Venue and the i20 N Line. The new SUV is likely to provide a redesigned front end with a more aggressive grille, bumper, and N Line specific red highlights on the front faux splitter. Moving to the sides, it will offer new side skirts and an unique alloy wheel design. Towards the rear, there will be a sportier boot lid spoiler and a reprofiled bumper with faux aluminium skid plate. It will also get N Line badges on all sides.
Moving inside, expect the 2024 Creta N Line to provide a blacked-out interior theme, leather wrapped steering wheel with contrast red stitching, and an N Line specific gear level. It is expected that it might offer some exclusive features as well.
The upcoming Creta Facelift will be offered with three engine choices, a 1.5-litre petrol, a 1.5-litre diesel and a 1.5-litre turbo-petrol unit. Expect the turbo-petrol choice to be offered with the upcoming N Line variant. The motor makes 160 bhp with 253 Nm of peak torque and is likely to be paired with a 7-speed DCT automatic gearbox.
Hyundai may also make some mechanical changes to the Creta N Line with a sportier and stiffer suspension setup, a tweaked steering, and a louder exhaust system.
The Korean automaker is expected to launch the Creta N Line in India by around either March or April 2024. Going by the brand’s current N Line model prices, expect the Creta N Line to be expensive by around Rs 50,000 to Rs 60,000 over the standard variants.
