Kia sold 27610 vehicles in Feb 2026 Posted over 10 percent sales growth
Kia India has recorded its highest-ever February sales of 27,610 units since commencing operations in India. The company has posted 10.3 percent year-on-year sales growth over 25,026 units sold in February 2025. This marks the second consecutive month for Kia to post double-digit growth.
Kia claims that the all-new Kia Seltos continued to witness strong customer response, while the Sonet sustained its leadership momentum in the compact SUV segment with its feature-rich and value-driven proposition. The Carens Clavis also gain positive response from family car buyers. Moreover, the Kia Carens Clavis EV gained traction among customers seeking simplified electric mobility ownership experience.
Mr. Atul Sood, Senior Vice President, Sales & Marketing, Kia India, said, “Our record February performance is a testimony to the growing trust of Indian consumers in Kia brand. The strong response across our portfolio — including All-New Seltos, Sonet and the Clavis line-up highlights our well-thought-out strategy and the agility to adapt with the evolving customer aspirations, including the shift towards electric mobility. We are not merely responding to market trends, but shaping them through innovation, premium design, advanced technology, and a relentless focus on delivering customer value.”
Kia currently has 849 touchpoints across 382 cities, which increases accessibility to sales and service nationwide. Adding to it, the company has 122 certified Pre-Owned outlets, which strengthens trust and transparency in the buying, selling and exchange process.
In a bid to further boost sales, Kia is planning to launch multiple new models in the country in the next 1-2 years. The company will soon introduce a new electric SUV based on the Syros. Moreover, the 7-seater Kia Sorento hybrid is expected to arrive in our market by early 2027. The all-new Kia Seltos will also receive a hybrid powertrain in 2027.
