The Korean automakers, after a busy 2024 in the premium segment, have now shifted focus back to the mass market segment in 2025. Kia is all set to launch the Syros on February 1, which was recently showcased. Along with that, the Carens facelift and Carens Electric versions are expected to hit the markets by mid-2025.
These new Carens versions will go on sale alongside the current model and are also expected to get a new name for the facelift. Let's look at what all you need to know about this facelift version.
The Carens facelift is expected to have significant changes to the design. It is likely to get a new grille, a new design for the alloy wheels, and a slightly more rugged look.
As for the interior of this facelifted MPV, it is said to receive major updates. It is expected to be offered with a new dashboard design and layout and new features which will make it more premium.
As for the features, it is expected to get a larger screen, front, and rear ventilated seats, powered seats, dual-zone climate control, rear entertainment display screen, a 360-degree camera, a panoramic sunroof, and level-2 ADAS.
The Carens facelift is expected to have a premium outlook over the current model which is priced at Rs 10.59 lakhs (ex-showroom). So it could be priced around Rs 11.50 lakhs (ex-showroom).
With its launch in the market in mid of 2025, the facelift model would be competing with the Toyota Innova Crysta and Hyundai Alcazar.
