e Vitara has 10.25-inch, whereas the Grand Vitara has 9-inch 10.1-inch digital driver's display is offered in the e Vitara while Grand Vitara provides a 7-inch display 10-way powered driver's seat and sliding rear seats in e Vitara More aggressive design with wider wheel arches and side cladding in e Vitara
Maruti Suzuki unveiled the e Vitara with several upgraded features at Auto Expo 2025. Brand will launch this model by March this year. Grand Vitara standard version and e Vitara, both models appear to be more or less the same, the former is packed with additional features that make the latter stand apart. From advance safety systems and a more premium in-cabin experience, here are some differences between the Grand Vitara and the e Vitara.
The e Vitara features an expansive 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment screen that dwarfs the Grand Vitara's version, which is only 9 inches. Both systems are Apple CarPlay and Android Auto compatible, performing seamless smartphone hand-offs. For drivers, another aspect the Grand Vitara trails that e Vitara comes with higher-resolution 10.1-inch digital driver's display, in comparison to the standard version with much smaller 7-inch unit.
The e Vitara is the first vehicle from Maruti to experience Level 2 Advanced Driver Assistance Systems. This means one big step towards safe technology. This comes along with an automatic emergency braking system, lane-keep assist, and lane departure warning. These ensure smoother driving and enhanced safety as the car must be able to help in some driving activities or correct it if needed.
Although the Grand Vitara comes with 6 airbags as standard, the e Vitara takes a step further in safety by making available 7 airbags, including a driver-side knee airbag. The additional airbag for the driver's knee provides protection in a case of collision. Furthermore, the e Vitara boasts an electric parking brake that includes an auto hold function, making it more convenient than using a conventional handbrake lever like the Grand Vitara.
For those love music, the e Vitara has equipped with a 10-speaker Infinity system to deliver better sound quality. However, the Grand Vitara has a 6-speaker system. The superior quality advanced type of music system in the e Vitara is advantageous for those people who consider premium sound while driving their car.
The e Vitara offers more comfort with a 10-way powered driver's seat, making it easier for drivers to adjust the seat to their preferred position. The Grand Vitara has a manual seat adjustment system. The rear seats are reclining in both vehicles, but the e Vitara offers a sliding function for rear seats, providing more flexibility in legroom for passengers.
Maruti e Vitara has a completely different design than the Grand Vitara, making it appear more tough and aggressive. The e Vitara features Y-shaped LED DRLs with traditionally placed headlights. On the other hand, the Grand Vitara features three-piece LED DRLs and headlights located on the bumper. In addition, the e Vitara includes fog lights that are not present on the Grand Vitara. In this way, the e Vitara shows a more stout appearance due to wider wheel arches and side body cladding. Its alloy wheels are aerodynamically designed, while in the Grand Vitara, more subtle-looking multi-spoke alloy wheels have been given.
At the back, the e Vitara features a distinctive 3-piece LED rear light cluster tied together by a black strip while the Grand Vitara boasts of connected LED rear lights. In addition, the e Vitara features a blacked-out bumper while the Grand Vitara has a massive silver skid plate at the back.
