The 2026 MG Hector facelift gets a bold new design and advanced tech. Expect a new infotainment system, ventilated seats, and more safety features. Pricing and launch details of the new Hector are coming soon!
MG Motor India has announced that the 2026 MG Hector facelift will be unveiled on 15 December. The latest teaser gives us a sneak peek at the exciting changes, including a stronger design, advanced tech, and improved features that are set to make the new Hector stand out in the crowded SUV market.

The most noticeable update is the new front grille, which gives the Hector a more assertive look. There are also updates to the bumpers and a possible new 19-inch alloy wheel design, but the overall shape and silhouette remain the same. Expect Hector to keep its familiar, yet refreshed, design.
One of the biggest updates in the 2026 Hector facelift is the new infotainment system. With 10GB RAM and faster response times, the system will offer a smoother touch experience. The system could also introduce multi-touch gesture controls for things like fan speed and audio. This is set to make the Hector’s tech one of the best in its class.
Along with the new infotainment, MG is adding features like ventilated seats (likely for both front and rear) and an upgraded user interface. The ADAS features (Advanced Driver Assistance System) will also be expanded, making it safer and smarter than before. The 14-inch portrait display, one of the largest in its class, will also be improved.

The engine options are expected to remain the same. You’ll still get the 1.5L turbo petrol and 2.0L diesel engines, with no major changes to the performance. These engines are well-liked in the current model, so MG is keeping them for the facelift.
The price of the new Hector hasn’t been announced yet, but it will likely be in line with current models. It will compete with other popular SUVs like the Tata Harrier, Tata Safari, and the Mahindra XUV700. The facelift’s new tech and design could help the Hector stay relevant in the crowded mid-size SUV market.
Stay tuned for more details on the MG Hector facelift.
