New Renault Duster Reaches Dealerships For Customers Preview: Price in March 2026

New Duster hits dealerships for customer preview Deliveries from April 2026 Bookings open at Rs 21,000

The new-gen Renault Duster is scheduled to be launched in March-April 2026. Ahead of the price announcement, Renault has started dispatching the new Duster to dealerships for customers preview. Interested customers can pre-book the new SUV online or at authorised Renault dealerships by paying a token amount of Rs 21,000.

Renault has officially announced that the deliveries for the new Duster will commence from April 2026. Its prices are expected to be revealed in March 2026. The company will initially deliver the turbo petrol version of the mid-size SUV, while the strong hybrid version will be introduced by October 2026 before Diwali.

Estimated Price and Rivals

The new Duster is expected to carry an aggressive price tag, thanks to the inclusion of the 1.0L 3-cylinder, turbocharged petrol engine. We expect the new SUV to cost somewhere around Rs 9.50 lakh to Rs 20 lakh, ex-showroom. The SUV will rival the likes of the Hyundai Creta, Maruti Grand Vitara, Kia Seltos, Toyota Urban Cruiser Hyryder and Tata Sierra.

Engine Specifications

The new Duster is available with two turbo petrol engines, including a 1.0L 3-cylinder, turbo petrol and a 1.3L, 4-cylinder, turbo petrol. While the former is good for 100hp and 160Nm, the 1.3L turbo unit produces 163hp and 280Nm. Transmission choices include a 6-speed manual as standard and a 6-speed dual-clutch automatic with 1.3L turbo unit.

The hybrid version of the SUV will get a 109bhp, 1.8L, 4-cylinder petrol engine paired with a 49bhp electric motor, a 1.4kWh battery pack and a 20bhp hybrid starter generator (HSG). The combined power and torque output stands at 160bhp and 172Nm, respectively.

Dimensions and Boot Space

In terms of proportions, the 2026 Renault Duster is 4343mm in length, 1813mm in width and 1659mm in height, and has a wheelbase of 2657mm. The SUV has a ground clearance of 212mm, which is more than sufficient to tackle Indian road conditions. It has a 26.9-degree approach angle and a 34.7-degree departure angle. The SUV offers a boot space of 518-litres, which is the largest in the category.
