Next-Gen Jeep Compass to Offer Multiple Powertrains - Launch Soon

Jeep has confirmed the global reveal of the next-gen Compass SUV will take place very soon in Europe. The brand has released a teaser recently for the SUV. The production of this next-gen model is on track to begin this year and will be built on the STLA Medium Platform. This production is planned to begin at a plant in Melfi, Italy.

New Jeep Compass: Powertrain and Design

It is said that the new-gen Compass SUV will be offered in expanded engine options. The SUV line-up will include an e-hybrid, e-hybrid plug-in, and fully electric options, with all-wheel drive available on select models.

Apart from that, through the teaser image, the SUV seems to have a longer body than the current models. In the image, squared-off wheel arches, floating rooflines, wrap-around headlamps, and tail lamps can be made out.

India Launch

For Compass, India is a great right-hand drive production hub so it is expected that Jeep will launch this new-gen SUV locally here as well with the global launch. No fix dates have been set by the brand but with the teaser reveal, the SUV is anticipated to debut soon.
