Nissan NX8 SUV Revealed – Up to 1450km Range, EV and Hybrid Options

Nissan has revealed the all-new Nissan NX8 for the Chinese market, expanding its N Series lineup.

Positioned between the Nissan Rogue (X-Trail) and Nissan Pathfinder, the NX8 is designed as a premium family SUV with advanced tech and multiple powertrain options.

Big Size and Modern Design

The NX8 measures 4,870 mm in length with a long 2,917 mm wheelbase, offering plenty of cabin space.

It follows Nissan’s latest V-Motion design with a clean front, full-width LED DRLs and split headlamps.

At the rear, sleek OLED tail lamps and smooth body panels improve both looks and aerodynamics.

Premium and Tech-Loaded Cabin

Inside, the NX8 focuses heavily on comfort and technology.

It gets dual 15.6-inch screens, a 10.25-inch digital driver display and runs on a powerful Qualcomm chipset.

Higher variants are expected to feature an augmented reality head-up display.

Other highlights include zero-gravity seats with massage, heating and ventilation, a 25-speaker audio system, AI voice controls and even an onboard refrigerator.

EV Version with Fast Charging

The fully electric (BEV) version comes with single motor options producing up to 335 hp.

It uses an 81 kWh battery pack and offers a claimed range of up to 650 km.

Charging is a major highlight, with support for ultra-fast charging that can take the battery from 10% to 80% in just around 12 minutes.

Hybrid (EREV) with Massive Range

The EREV version combines a 1.5-litre petrol engine with an electric motor.

It can deliver up to 310 km in pure electric mode, while the total combined range goes up to an impressive 1,450 km.

This makes it ideal for buyers looking for both efficiency and long-distance capability.

Safety and Advanced Tech

The NX8 comes equipped with a new ADAS system developed with Momenta.

It uses up to 29 sensors, including a roof-mounted LiDAR unit, for advanced safety and driver assistance features.

Strong Demand and Pricing

The NX8 has already received over 8,000 bookings within just 30 minutes of launch, showing strong interest.

Prices range from around Rs 20.5 lakh to Rs 27.3 lakh (approx), making it a value-focused offering in its segment.
