Skoda Kodiaq RS Set To Arrive In India Next Week

Skoda Kodiaq RS will launch in India next week. It gets a 265bhp turbo-petrol engine and AWD. The first batch has already been sold out.

Skoda Auto India will launch the Kodiaq RS in the first week of July. It will be the performance version of the Kodiaq and will be sold in limited numbers. The first batch has already been sold out before the official launch.

The Kodiaq RS gets a more powerful engine, updated styling and more features than the standard Kodiaq.

Gets A Sportier Look

The Kodiaq RS comes with a gloss black grille, redesigned front and rear bumpers, black exterior highlights and exclusive alloy wheels. It also gets RS badges and red brake callipers.

At the rear, the SUV features a full-width reflector and dual exhaust finishers, giving it a different look from the standard model.

Cabin Gets More Features

Inside, the SUV has an all-black cabin with sports seats finished in suede and leather. It also gets red stitching, stainless steel pedals and RS badges on the steering wheel and seats.

The feature list includes a 13-inch touchscreen infotainment system, a 10-inch digital instrument cluster, panoramic sunroof, ventilated and massaging front seats, three-zone climate control and a Canton sound system. The Kodiaq RS also comes with an ADAS suite and several safety features.

265bhp Turbo-Petrol Engine

Powering the Kodiaq RS is a 2.0-litre turbo-petrol engine that produces 265bhp and 400Nm of torque.

The engine is paired with a seven-speed DSG automatic gearbox and an all-wheel-drive system as standard. It offers more power than the regular Kodiaq while keeping the same seven-seat layout.

Expected Price

The Skoda Kodiaq RS is expected to be priced around Rs 60 lakh (ex-showroom). It will be offered as a limited-run model for buyers looking for a premium SUV with higher performance. Since the first allocation has already been sold out, deliveries for the next batch are expected after the launch.
