Skoda Kodiaq RS is set to become the fastest Skoda ever sold in India. It can go from 0 to 100 km/h in just 6.3 seconds. Now, full details of the SUV have been revealed ahead of its launch, including its engine, design and features. Bookings for the SUV are already open in India.

Strong 2.0-litre Turbo Petrol Engine

The Kodiaq RS comes with a 2.0-litre turbo petrol engine that produces 265 PS of power and 400 Nm of torque. It comes with a 7-speed DSG automatic gearbox and a 4x4 all-wheel-drive system.

This is a more powerful version of the standard Kodiaq engine, which makes 204 PS. The RS version is tuned for faster acceleration and better performance.

Sporty Look on the Outside

The SUV gets a sportier design compared to the regular model. It uses a lot of black elements on the front grille, mirrors, window line and roof rails.

Both front and rear bumpers look more aggressive. At the back, it gets a black diffuser and twin exhaust pipes.

It also comes with 20-inch alloy wheels and red brake calipers. Skoda will offer it in four colours - Moon White, Magic Black, Velvet Red and Steel Grey.

Premium and Simple Cabin

Inside, the SUV has an all-black theme with red stitching. The seats are designed to be sporty but also comfortable for long drives.

It gets a three-spoke steering wheel with paddle shifters, aluminium pedals and a panoramic sunroof.

Other features include a 12.9-inch touchscreen, wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, dual wireless charging and a 13-speaker sound system.

It also offers ventilated front seats, 3-zone climate control and better cabin insulation for a quieter ride.

Loaded With Safety Features

The Kodiaq RS comes with 9 airbags, ABS, ESC, traction control and brake assist.

It also gets driver assistance features like adaptive cruise control, lane keep assist, blind spot monitoring and rear traffic alert.

Other safety features include hill hold control, hill descent control and tyre pressure monitoring.
