Skoda Kodiaq RS bookings open in India Only 50 units available for the market Brand’s fastest SUV with 265 hp engine
Skoda Auto India has officially opened bookings for the Kodiaq RS, the sportier and more powerful version of its flagship SUV. What makes it even more special is its exclusivity; only 50 units will be available in India, making it one of the rarest Skoda models ever sold here.
Customers can book the SUV with a token amount of Rs 3 lakh, while the official price announcement is expected soon. Deliveries are likely to begin shortly after the launch.
Skoda’s Most Powerful SUV For India
The Kodiaq RS sits at the top of the Kodiaq lineup and becomes the brand’s most powerful SUV in India.
It is powered by a 2.0-litre turbo petrol engine that produces 265 hp and 400 Nm of torque. The engine comes paired with a 7-speed DSG automatic gearbox, along with standard all-wheel drive.
Performance is a strong highlight. The SUV can accelerate from 0 to 100 kmph in just 6.3 seconds, while the top speed is electronically limited to 231 kmph.

Sporty Design With RS Identity
The Kodiaq RS clearly stands apart from the standard model with its performance-focused design.
It gets a gloss black grille, RS-specific bumpers, darker exterior accents, and exclusive RS badging. The SUV also rides on 20-inch alloy wheels with red brake calipers that add to its sporty appeal.
At the rear, it features a full-width light bar, RS branding, and a redesigned bumper with a more aggressive look.
Four Colour Options
Skoda will offer the Kodiaq RS in four exterior shades:
- Velvet Red
- Steel Grey
- Moon White
- Magic Black
Among these, Velvet Red is expected to be the most eye-catching and performance-focused option.
Sporty Yet Premium Cabin
Inside, the SUV continues its sporty theme with integrated sport seats, RS-specific upholstery, contrast stitching, and unique trim accents.
Despite its performance focus, the Kodiaq RS retains its practical three-row seating layout, making it suitable for families as well.
Feature highlights include a 13-inch touchscreen infotainment system, digital instrument cluster, panoramic sunroof, ventilated front seats, wireless charging, and wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay.
Strong Focus On Safety And Tech
The Kodiaq RS is expected to come loaded with safety features including multiple airbags, electronic stability control, adaptive cruise control, lane assist, blind spot monitoring, parking sensors, a 360-degree camera, and ADAS features.
Built on the MQB Evo platform, the SUV also benefits from improved technology and structural upgrades introduced in the latest generation Kodiaq.
