Skoda Kushaq facelift is set to arrive soon, and it will bring a host of exciting updates that are sure to boost its visual appeal. Expected to launch in late 2025 or early 2026, the new Kushaq facelift promises to offer both design tweaks and advanced features.
Let’s take a closer look at what we can expect from the refreshed SUV.
One of the key highlights of the Kushaq facelift is the refreshed front fascia. The grille, headlights, and bumper are expected to be redesigned to give the SUV a more lively look. The Kushaq has always been one of the sportiest SUVs in its segment, and these updates will take its appearance to the next level.
The facelifted Kushaq will feature new LED headlights, with LED DRLs positioned at the top, which will also act as the turn indicators. These changes will make the overall lighting setup attractive and improve visibility.
The side profile of the facelifted Kushaq remains largely unchanged, except for a new design for the alloy wheels. The SUV will continue to feature conventional door handles, side trims, blacked-out B-pillars, dual-tone ORVMs, and roof rails.
At the rear, the Kushaq facelift will introduce connected tail lamps and some new detailing on the rear bumper. Although the basic sheet metal will remain the same, Skoda is likely to offer a range of new colour options for customers to choose from.
Inside the cabin, the Kushaq facelift will receive a significant update. One of the most anticipated updates is the addition of a panoramic sunroof. This feature, which was previously unavailable on the Kushaq, will add a sense of spaciousness to the cabin and will be a welcome upgrade for buyers. Currently, the Kushaq comes with a single-pane sunroof, but the addition of a panoramic sunroof will align it with other rivals in the compact SUV segment, such as the Hyundai Creta and Kia Seltos.
In terms of technology, the 2026 Skoda Kushaq facelift will likely receive updated screens for both the infotainment system and the instrument cluster. The current 10-inch touchscreen infotainment system may be replaced with a more advanced unit. Additionally, the Kushaq facelift is expected to feature advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS), including automatic emergency braking, lane departure warning, and adaptive cruise control. The Kushaq currently boasts a 5-star safety rating in Global NCAP crash tests, and the addition of ADAS will make it even more appealing to safety-conscious buyers.
When it comes to performance, the Skoda Kushaq facelift will continue with the same powertrain options as the current model. The 1.0-litre turbo petrol engine will still produce 115 PS and 178 Nm of peak torque, with the option of a 6-speed manual or a 6-speed automatic transmission. The fuel efficiency for the 1.0-litre engine is expected to remain around 19.76 kmpl (manual) and 18.09 kmpl (automatic).
For those seeking more power, the Kushaq facelift will also retain the 1.5-litre turbo petrol engine, which generates 150 PS and 250 Nm of torque. This engine will be paired with a 7-speed DSG transmission. The fuel efficiency for the 1.5-litre engine is rated at 18.86 kmpl. While the powertrain options remain unchanged, the Kushaq facelift will benefit from updated tech features that improve driving dynamics, such as ADAS and improved handling.
As for the price, the 2026 Skoda Kushaq facelift is expected to carry a slight premium over the current model, reflecting the additional features and updates. The exact price will depend on the final variant and features, but it will likely be in line with the competition. The Kushaq facelift is expected to launch in late 2025 or early 2026, and Skoda fans can look forward to more details as the launch date approaches.
