The Tata Harrier EV will be based on Tata’s new ‘acti.ev+’ platform, which has been derived from the OMEGA ARC platform. The platform is modified to accommodate EVs by offering a flat-floor and spacious cabin. The company has not released the official specifications, but we expect the new Harrier EV to get a 75kWh battery pack. It comes with the ’Summon’ mode, which allows the drive to move the electric SUV forwards and backwards using the key fob. The electric also comes with vehicle-to-load (V2L) feature.
In terms of features, the EV gets a 12.3-inch touchscreen infotainment unit with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, a 10.25-inch digital instrument console, dual-zone climate control, panoramic sunroof, ambient lighting, a power-operated tailgate and ventilated front seats.
