Tata Motors is all set to announce the prices of the long-awaited Harrier EV on June 3, 2025. The SUV was revealed in production-avatar at the 2025 Bharat Mobility Global Expo. In fact, the electric SUV was revealed to official dealers and media at Tata Motors’s production plant. Ahead of the official launch, Tata Motors has revealed a teaser of the Harrier electric.
In the short video clip, the Tata Harrier EV is attempting to climb a mountain peak. This teaser confirms that the company would aim to present the new model as a highly capable electric SUV. It is already confirmed that the electric SUV will come with a dual-motor AWD set-up and multi-link rear suspension setup. The SUV will have enough power and capabilities to tackle rugged and challenging roads.
The Tata Harrier EV will be based on Tata’s new ‘acti.ev+’ platform, which has been derived from the OMEGA ARC platform. The platform is modified to accommodate EVs by offering a flat-floor and spacious cabin. The company has not released the official specifications, but we expect the new Harrier EV to get a 75kWh battery pack. It will have an all-wheel drive setup and a multi-link rear suspension, which is claimed to offer improved performance and comfort.

The Tata Harrier electric is likely to offer a range of over 500kms on a single charge.The Tata Harrier electric SUV will come with more features than the diesel-powered version. It comes with the ’Summon’ mode, which allows the drive to move the electric SUV forwards and backwards using the key fob. The electric also comes with vehicle-to-load (V2L) feature.
In terms of features, the EV gets a 12.3-inch touchscreen infotainment unit with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, a 10.25-inch digital instrument console, dual-zone climate control, panoramic sunroof, ambient lighting, a power-operated tailgate and ventilated front seats.
For safety and security, the Tata Harrier EV gets 7 airbags, a 360-degree surround view camera, hill hold assist, and tyre pressure monitoring system. It also gets LEVEL 2 ADAS with features like adaptive cruise control, lane assist, autonomous emergency braking, auto high beam, and others.
The Tata Harrier EV is estimated to be priced in the range of Rs 24 lakh to Rs 30 lakh (ex-showroom). It will rival the likes of the Mahindra BE 6, Mahindra XEV 9e and BYD Atto 3.
