Tata Launches New Ultra Variants of the Harrier and Safari Diesel

Tata Harrier Ultra diesel is priced at Rs 23.84 lakh Safari Ultra diesel is tagged at Rs 24.49 lakh Both SUVs get New Ultra Red Dark editions

Tata Motors has launched the new top-spec Ultra trims of the diesel-powered Harrier and Safari SUVs. While the Tata Harrier Ultra diesel is priced at Rs 23.84 lakh, while the Safari Ultra diesel is tagged at Rs 24.49 lakh, ex-showroom. Adding to it, the company has also introduced the new Ultra Red Dark editions of the both SUVs. For people not in the know, the petrol-powered models are already offered the Fearless Ultra and Accomplished Ultra trims.

Tata Harrier and Safari Diesel Ultra: Key Details

The Harrier Ultra is positioned above the Fearless X+ trim, while the Safari Ultra sits above the Accomplished X+. Both variants are equipped with a larger 14.53-inch infotainment system with a Samsung display with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. Other additions include Dolby Atmos, a digital Interior rearview mirror (IRVM) with an in-built dashcam, powered outside rearview mirror (ORVMs) with a memory function and a 65W Type-C charging port.

The Harrier and Tata Safari diesel Ultra comes with a white-and-brown dual-tone interior scheme, an application suite, on-board navigation, and a wash function for the front and rear parking cameras.

The new Ultra trim of both SUVs is also offered in the Red Dark Edition, which comes with cosmetic design and interior changes. The SUVs ride on 19-inch blacked-out alloy wheels with red brake calipers. Adding to it, the Harrier Ultra diesel comes with an exclusive Nitro Crimson colour. Inside the cabin, both SUVs get a ‘Carnelian Red’ interior scheme with a red finish for the leatherette seats.

Both the Harrier and Safari diesel are powered by a 2.0-litre, 4-cylinder, turbocharged engine that produces 170hp and a peak torque of 350Nm. Transmission choices include a 6-speed manual and a 6-speed torque converter automatic.
