Hyundai Motor India is planning to roll out the upgraded version of its popular subcompact SUV - the Venue. The model is likely to be introduced in the coming weeks, however, the launch date is not confirmed yet. Speaking of designs, there are no changes to the exterior and the interior. The only significant update will be its diesel power output which is the Creta’s 113 bhp. Besides, the Korean automaker is likely to add safety features such as 4 airbags as standard and 6 airbags as an option. Know more about the key changes and competitors of the upcoming Hyundai Venue Facelift.
The New Hyundai Venue will come in 5 trims; E, S, S(O), SX, and SX (O). There will be no specific change to the design. Even the SUV is likely to retain its 1.2-litre (naturally aspirated) petrol engine and the 1.0-litre turbocharged engine with the same power output. Besides, the brand will continue offering a diesel engine to its New Venue. The power of the diesel engine is increased to 113 bhp from 99 bhp; it is now the same as Hyundai Creta’s power output. However, the engine will be available only with a 6-speed manual gearbox same as the current model. In addition, the company will update its Venue with 4 airbags as standard. It is also expected that Hyundai will add 6 airbags as an option.
