Kia has been testing out its new Carens which is expected to launch soon. The car has been spotted again, and this time in South Korea with a new color, revealing some more fresh details. The Carens is one of the brand's best-selling models in India with over a contribution of 20% in overall sales. The facelift version of this model is likely to feature enhanced design, tech and safety features.
Here have a look at what the spied image reveals about this facelift version.
In the latest spied images of the 2025 Carens, we can make some significant design changes. The front fascia is seems to be revised and feature a new set of LED lighting elements which include LED DRLs and triangular-shaped headlamps quite similar to the EV5.
As for the car's side profile, it seems to remain unchanged except for new alloy wheel design. In the back, the MPV is likely to get vertically stacked LED taillamps connected by an LED light bar and the bumper will get some minor updates as well for the fresh look.
The inside of the car is not seen and the automaker is yet to announce the interior layout of the car. However, the facelift Carens will likely be offered with ventilated second-row seats, a 5-inch digital climate control display, updated upholstery and materials along with a 30-inch Trinity Panoramic Display.
Apart from these expected interior features updates, the MPV is also expected to have advance safety features. This could include, ADAS, a 360-degree camera and many such features.
The facelift Carens version will be offered with the same engine option as the current model, i.e, a 1.5L NA Petrol with 112 bhp, 144 Nm (6-speed manual), a 1.5L Turbo Petrol delivering 157 bhp, 253 Nm (6-speed iMT / 7-speed DCT) and 1.5L Diesel that churns out 113 bhp, 250 Nm (6-speed manual / 6-speed automatic).
The 2025 Carens is expected to make its debut in mid-2025 and the pricing would be higher than the current model due to additional features and updates.
