Renault will launch the third generation Duster in India in mid-2025. This model will also retain the high ground clearance and strong road presence for rugged appeal. The new Duster will continue to be a 5-seater SUV. Though a 7-seater version may hit the market later in 2025 or early 2026. It could then probably be named "Grand Duster".
Spy shots of the Duster have surfaced during test rounds in India. The SUV is at the final stages of development, but still carries a highly camouflaged body. The new-generation Duster will compete with other leading SUVs like Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos, Honda Elevate, Maruti Grand Vitara and others.
The 2025 Renault Duster is expected to come with a price tag that falls between Rs. 10 lakh and Rs. 15 lakh, ex-showroom. This is in comparison with its rivals in the compact SUV segment. While the international version of Duster comes with a varied range of engines, like a 1.0-litre turbo-petrol engine, a 1.2-litre petrol-hybrid, and a 1.6-litre petrol-hybrid. The Indian version is likely to arrive with a 1.5L NA petrol & a 1.3L turbo petrol engine, but this time with options for both manual and automatic transmissions.
The new range of Renault Duster, now to be released, with multiple technologically advanced features. For example, a 7-inch entirely customisable instrument cluster - the "colour digital dashboard." It will show merely those information which a driver has to know the most about. The central console would feature a wireless smartphone charger to make it even less hectic.
Concerning safety, it claims the Duster is to be fully equipped with multiple variations of ADAS, like automated braking, lane departure warnings, lane keep assists, and rear parking assists with the emergency stop signal. The lot can well end up in the Indian variant, which may significantly help ensure the convenience factor has proper safety credentials.
The Renault 2025 Duster will give the Indian market an updated design, latest trendy features, and robust performances. It is sure to attract many SUV enthusiasts when considering the competitive pricing against the robustness of its capabilities.
