Tata Motors is gearing up to launch the facelift version of the Altroz, and the latest spy shots reveal the upcoming Altroz CNG facelift undergoing road tests in Pune. Expected to make its official debut later this year, the updated Altroz will bring a fresh look and enhanced features.

Even though the test car was covered in camouflage, some visible changes stood out.
The front now looks sharper with new lights, following Tata’s latest design seen on the new Nexon and Harrier. The grille and bumper have also been updated, giving the Altroz a sportier look.
This test car had steel wheels, which suggests it might be a lower variant. Earlier test versions showed new alloy wheels, pointing to a fresh design for other trims too. At the back, the facelift is likely to bring new LED tail lights and a redesigned bumper for a more modern feel.
Inside, the dashboard was partly covered, but some updates could be seen. These include a glossy black finish on the AC vents and a new two-spoke steering wheel with a glowing Tata logo, like the one in the updated Nexon.
The Tata Altroz facelift is expected to receive several feature enhancements, such as:
Under the hood, the Altroz CNG facelift will continue with the existing 1.2-litre three-cylinder dual-fuel engine, producing 70 bhp and 103 Nm in CNG mode. The CNG variant will be available exclusively with a 5-speed manual transmission.
For standard petrol and diesel variants of the Altroz facelift, the powertrain options are expected to remain unchanged:
Tata Altroz CNG continues to rival the Maruti Suzuki Baleno CNG, which features a 1.2-litre dual-fuel engine delivering 74 bhp and 98.5 Nm, paired with a 5-speed manual transmission.
Tata Motors will launch the new Sierra ICE and EV before the end of this year - Harrier EV launch expected in May-June 2025.
