Tata Motors is all set to launch the Punch facelift before the end of this year. The 2025 Tata Punch facelift has been caught testing multiple times that gives a clear idea about the possible changes. It will come with subtle design changes along with an interior upgrades along with a longer list of features.
The spy images reveal that the Punch facelift will come with noticeable design changes. Majority of the changes are made to the front fascia with design elements shared with the Punch EV. There is a revised front grille in-line with Nexon, a reworked bumper and restyled headlamp set-up.
The side profile appears largely identical to the existing model, except for the newly designed alloys. The micro SUV is loved for its boxy design with modern styling elements, and high ground clearance, and Tata will maintain this quotient.
The rear will have newly designed LED tail-lamps, which seems identical to the one offered on the Altroz hatchback. To add new tail-lamps, Tata engineers have also revised the tailgate design. The SUV will have rear parking sensors and a 360-degree surround view camera.
Inside the cabin, the 2025 Tata Punch facelift will share features with the Altroz and the Nexon. The micro SUV will have a new two-spoke steering wheel with illuminated Tata logo, which we have already seen on latest Tata cars including Altroz and Nexon. The SUV could also get a larger free-standing touchscreen infotainment unit with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay support.
In terms of features, the micro SUV is likely to be ventilated front seats, an 8-speaker music system, blind spot monitoring and 6 airbags as standard. The Altroz facelift could come equipped with an updated instrument console and new climate control panel.
The new Tata Punch facelift won’t receive any mechanical changes. It will continue to be offered with the existing 1.2L, 3-cylinder, naturally-aspirated petrol engine producing 87bhp and 115Nm. The CNG version will come with a twin-cylinder technology, and in the CNG mode, the powertrain produces 73.5bhp and 103Nm. Transmission choices include a 5-speed manual and a 5-speed AMT (Automated Manual Transmission).
