Tata Punch facelift gets a new turbo petrol engine and fresh styling. It now offers more features along with a 5-star safety rating. Prices for the 2026 Tata Punch start at Rs 5.59 lakh.
Tata Motors has launched the Tata Punch facelift in India, giving the popular micro-SUV a big upgrade for 2026. The new Tata Punch now looks bolder, offers more features, gets a new turbo petrol engine and continues with a strong focus on safety. The Tata Punch facelift 2026 price starts at Rs 5.59 lakh (ex-showroom).
With these updates, the 2026 Tata Punch facelift aims to attract both new car buyers and existing Punch owners.
A major update for the Tata Punch facelift 2026 is the introduction of the new i-Turbo petrol engine. This 1.2-litre turbo petrol motor produces around 108 PS and 140 Nm of torque, offering better performance than the standard engine. It is paired with a 6-speed manual gearbox.
The existing 1.2-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine continues to be offered with both manual and AMT gearbox options. Tata Motors is also offering the Punch with twin-cylinder iCNG technology, which helps retain usable boot space. For the first time in the segment, the iCNG setup is available with an AMT gearbox as well.

Tata Punch facelift variants include Smart, Pure, Adventure and Accomplished trims, with multiple sub-variants across petrol, CNG and turbo petrol options.
The new Tata Punch facelift is priced between Rs 5.59 lakh and Rs 8.99 lakh for the petrol manual versions, while petrol AMT prices range from Rs 7.54 lakh to Rs 9.54 lakh, ex-showroom. The iCNG variants start at Rs 6.69 lakh and go up to Rs 9.29 lakh for the manual trims, with iCNG AMT prices ranging between Rs 8.54 lakh and Rs 10.54 lakh. The Punch facelift also gets the iTurbo petrol engine, available on the Adventure variant at Rs 8.29 lakh and on the Accomplished+ S trim at Rs 9.79 lakh, ex-showroom.

Tata Punch facelift gets visible design changes that make it look more modern and bold. At the front, the SUV now features a sleeker closed grille, a redesigned bumper and new LED headlamps inspired by the Punch EV. The LED DRLs look sharper and give the car a more premium feel.
From the side, the new Punch continues with its upright stance but now rides on newly designed alloy wheels. At the rear, the SUV gets updated LED tail lamps, with a connected light bar offered on higher variants. Overall, the design changes make the new Tata Punch look tougher and more upmarket than before.

Inside, the 2026 Tata Punch facelift feels more modern and feature-rich. The dashboard layout has been refreshed and now includes new central AC vents and a touch-based climate control panel on higher trims. A new twin-spoke steering wheel with an illuminated Tata logo adds to the updated look.
Feature additions are one of the biggest highlights of the new Tata Punch. It now offers a larger touchscreen infotainment system, a digital instrument cluster and a 360-degree camera system. Comfort features like automatic climate control, wireless charging and premium sound system are also available on select variants.
Safety remains a key strength of the new Tata Punch. The SUV continues to carry a 5-star Bharat NCAP safety rating, making it one of the safest cars in its segment. It is built on Tata’s strong ALFA platform and uses high-strength steel.
Tata Punch facelift comes with six airbags as standard, along with electronic stability control, hill hold assist and rear parking sensors. Features like a 360-degree camera, tyre pressure monitoring system and advanced driver aids further improve safety and driver confidence.
With updated styling, more features, a new turbo engine and proven safety, the 2026 Tata Punch facelift offers strong value in the small SUV space. It continues to be a practical, safe and feature-packed option for Indian car buyers looking for a compact SUV in 2026.
