Kia is all geared up for the 2025 Bharat Mobility Show with three major products – Syros subcompact SUV, EV9 electric SUV and EV6 facelift. The Kia Syros will make its first public appearance at the event, followed by its price announcement on 1st February, 2025. The updated Kia EV6 had its global debut last year, and now its ready to enter India with its official unveiling at the Auto Expo. The carmaker will also display its new flagship electric offering – EV9 – which went on sale in India a few months back at Rs 1.30 crore. Let’s take a look at all key details of these Kia SUVs.

The Syros model lineup is spread across four six trims – HTK, HTK (O), HTK+, HTX, HTX+ and HTX+ (O), powered by the 1.0 turbo petrol and 1.5L diesel engines. The petrol motor pushes out a maximum power of 120bhp and 172Nm of torque, while the diesel unit is good enough for 116bhp and 250Nm. Transmission choices include a 6-speed manual (standard), a 6-speed torque convertor automatic and a 7-speed DCT.
The Kia Syros is the most well-equipped and spacious vehicle in its segment. The subcompact SUV has dual 12.3-inch displays (for infotainment and instrument functionalities), a 5-inch screen for the climate control system, EV3-inspired two-spoke steering wheel, wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, in-car connectivity, OTA updates, reclining and sliding second row seats with centre armrest, all four ventilated seats, 8-speaker Harman Kardon sound system, a dual-pane panoramic sunroof, a 360 degree camera, Level 2 ADAS tech, front and rear parking sensors and more. The Syros has a boot space of 465-litres, and with a wheelbase of 2,550mm and tall stance ensures ample space for all occupants.
The updated EV6 facelift will hit Indian roads sometime this year. The electric crossover will come with a new 84kWh battery pack replacing the existing 77.4kWh pack. With the RWD (rear-wheel drive) setup, the EV6 offers a range of 494km and power worth 225bhp with 350Nm of torque. Its dual motor version delivers a claimed power of 320bhp and 605Nm of torque. Aiming to improve its rideability, Kia has equipped the new EV6 with the frequency-selective dampers.
The new Kia EV6 takes just 18 minutes to get charged from 10 to 80 percent via a 350kW DC fast charging. Inside, the electric crossover gets the two-spoke steering wheel with a fingerprint reader, OTA (over-the-air) updates for multiple features, a curved panoramic screen, a digital rear view mirror, updated HUD with AI-based navigation and more. Noticeable cosmetic changes have also been made to the 2025 Kia EV6 including revised front fascia with angular LED DRLs, newly-designed lower grille and bumper, new alloy wheels and revised rear bumper and taillamps.

Launched in October 2024, the Kia EV9 electric SUV comes in a single, fully-loaded GT-Line trim, priced at Rs 1.3 crore. The SUV measures 5,015mm in length, 1,980mm in width, stands 1,780mm tall with a wheelbase of 3,100mm. As a flagship EV, the EV9 offers several advanced goodies including a 14-speaker Meridian audio system, latest version of Kia Connect connected car tech, V2L (vehicle to load) functionality, dual electric sunroofs, a digital IRVM, second row seats with captain chairs supporting massage function, electric adjustment and adjustable leg support, head-up display, a digital key, 10 airbags, vehicle stability management, a 360 degree camera, Level 2 ADAS, parking sensors at the front, side and rear, hill descent control and more.
The powertrain setup of the Kia EV9 consists of a 99.8kWh battery pack and dual electric motors with AWD setup. The electric motors push out a maximum power of 384bhp and 700Nm of torque. It can do 0 to 100kmph in 5.3 seconds, and offers an ARAI-certified range of 561km.
