Honda Cars will launch the much-awaited new-gen Amaze sub-4 meter sedan in the country on December 4, 2024. The new model will come with all-new design and interior, which will be in-line with brand's new breed of cars including Honda Elevate. In fact, the new Amaze will be designed and developed on the City's platform.
Honda has released design and interior sketches, which suggests that the new Amaze design will be a mix of City and Amaze. In fact, the cabin layout and features will be similar to the one offered in the Elevate SUV. In terms of features, the new Honda Amaze will have a single-pane sunroof, a larger touchscreen infotainment unit, wireless phone charger and camera-based ADAS system. It will continue to be powered by a 1.2L NA petrol engine with manual and CVT automatic gearbox.

The Korean automaker has confirmed that its next SUV for our market will be called the Kia Syros. It is scheduled to be launched in the first quarter of 2025. The new model will be positioned between the Sonet and Seltos, and will be marketed as a lifestyle SUV. It will have rugged styling with heavy cladding, boxy shape and flatter nose.
The new SUV will come with high-end tech and safety features. It will have panoramic sunroof, ventilated front seats, electrically adjustable driver's seat, and an advanced driver assistance system or ADAS tech. Other safety features will include six airbags, ABS with EBD, a 360-degree surround view camera, TPMS, front parking sensors, and rear disc brakes. The SUV is likely to be offered with 1.0L turbo petrol and 1.5L turbo diesel engines. It could also get a 1.5L NA petrol engine.

Hyundai will introduce its smallest & most affordable electric vehicle, the Inster EV in the Indian market in 2026. Internally codenamed HE1i, the new Inster EV will be manufactured at the brand's Sriperumbudur factory. It is based on Hyundai's global and affordable E-GMP (K) platform. The styling is inspired by the Casper micro SUV. It measures 3.8 meters in length, which is similar to the Hyundai Exter micro SUV.
The new model is available with two battery options - 42kWh and 49kWh. Both models come with front-axle mounted electric motors offering 95hp in the base variant and 113hp in the long range variant. The peak torque stands at 147Nm for both variants. It is claimed to offer an electric range of 355km on a single charge.
