Jeep Compass 5th Anniversary Edition teased ahead of its launch; Will get minor cosmetic tweaks to the interior and exterior; Will sport the 5th Anniversary Edition Badge.
To celebrate its 5 years of success in the Indian market, Jeep is all set to introduce a special 5th Anniversary Edition to the Compass’ line-up. Launched in the year 2017, the Compass has been a successful product for the company and the latest update has made it an even more viable choice for the customer.
A major differentiating factor on the new model will be the 5th Anniversary badging available on the front fenders and the tailgate. Apart from this, the Special Edition will get a few minor cosmetic upgrades to the exterior and interior. We also expect the four-wheeler to come equipped with new design alloy wheels and paint scheme among other bits. On the inside, the automaker is expected to play around with the colour scheme of the dashboard, leather upholstery and add the 5th Edition marking on the headrests. The Special Edition will most likely be restricted to the top-end trims of the Compass.

Mechanically, the SUV will remain the same and will continue to be powered by a single petrol and a single diesel engine option. The SUV will be available with a 6-speed manual, 9-speed torque converter automatic and a 7-speed DCT gearbox based on the trim selected.

In India, Jeep Compass rivals the likes of Tata Harrier, Mahindra XUV700, Citroen C5 Aircross and the upcoming New-Gen Hyundai Tucson in its segment.
