Kia India will commence the bookings of Syros from 3 January, 2025, today at 12am. Interested customers can book new Syros online or at a nearest Kia dealship for an amount of Rs. 25,000. The prices of the compact SUV will be announced on 1 February, 2025. Deliveries will start from mid-February, 2025.
The Kia Syros comes with two engine options: 1.0-litre T-GDi petrol, which churns out 120bhp and 172Nm of torque; and 1.5-litre CRDi VGT diesel which churns out 116bhp, and 250Nm of torque. Transmission options include a 6-speed manual, a 6-speed automatic (diesel), and a 7-speed DCT automatic (petrol).
Kia Syros comes with fully loaded with features which includes ventilated rear seats, ambient lighting with 64 colors, side parking sensors, flush-type door handles, and a digital AC control unit. It also comes with dual 12.3-inch displays, an 8-speaker Harman Kardon system, and wireless charging. Syros supports wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. It has a panoramic sunroof and a powered driver's seat too.
For Safety, it is equipped with six airbags, hill-start assist, front and rear parking sensors, ISOFIX child anchors, and Level 1 ADAS featuring items like lane-keeping assist and forward collision warning.
The Kia Syros is expected to get a starting price of Rs. 9 lakh, ex-showroom. The company would officially declare the price on 1 February, 2025. It is going to compete with Tata Nexon, Mahindra XUV 3XO, Hyundai Creta, and Maruti Grand Vitara.
