Kia is all set to launch the new Syros tomorrow in India. This is a sub-4 meter SUV that was showcased to the public at the 2025 Bharat Mobility Expo. The bookings for the SUV were opened from January 1, 2025, and deliveries will start by mid-February. The Korean automakers have confirmed to offer the Syros with six variants and multiple theme choices.
Let's have a look at what theme choices the new Syros would offer in its variants.
Starting from the entry-level and mid-level variants (HTK+, HTK, and HTK (O)), they are offered in semi-leatherette seats with a slight difference in colors. Like, the HTK+ (Mid-level variant) gets cloud blue and grey dual-tone color with a mint green accent, and entry-level variants HTK and HTK (O) variants get black and grey upholstered seats with orange accents.
As for the top-spec variants, the HTX+ and HTX+ (O) come with grey leatherette upholstery and the upper half of the seats has a lighter grey shade with the lower half a shade darker. To separate the two shades, there is a matte orange accent. The HTX variant gets the same leatherette seats but with a cloud blue and grey dual-tone and a mint green accent.
This sub-compact SUV is powered by two engine options, a 1.0 T-GDI turbo-petrol engine (producing about 117 bhp and 172 Nm torque) paired with either a six-speed manual transmission or a seven-speed DCT and a 1.5 CRDI diesel engine (delivering 113 bhp and 250 Nm torque) paired with options for a six-speed manual or a six-speed torque converter automatic.
The price for the Kia Syros is yet to announce the pricing, so it is expected to start under Rs 10 lakhs (ex-showroom).
