During the recent Auto Expo 2025, Rajesh Jejurikar, executive director and CEO of Mahindra’s Auto and Farm Sector, said that the brand will announce the schedule of the rollout for Pack Two by the end of March. The BE 6 and XEV 9e have revealed pricing for Pack 1 and top-spec that is Pack 3 until now.
As of now, we know that the only top-spec Pack 3 gets 2 battery options that are 59 kWh and 79 kWh. Both BE 6 and XEV 9e offer four variants.
What all the Packs have in common would be the 59 kWh battery pack that provided a MIDC range of 556 km (BE 6) and 542 km (XEV 9e).
The Mahindra BE 6 offers new-age features available right from the base variant to top-spec. Also what the Pack 2 will offer in terms of features is yet to be officially announced. It is likely that this pack too will follow the modern tech and interior as the other revealed packs.
The Pack One trim offers dual 12.3-inch floating screens supporting MAIA (Mahindra Artificial Intelligence Architecture) software, wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay connectivity, 4 speaker sound system, Alexa voice commands, fast 5G connectivity, automatic AC unit, all disc brakes, four airbags, and cruise control.
The Mahindra BE 6 Pack Three variant has various exclusive features such as a Dolby Atmos 16-speaker Harman Kardon sound system, 5G connectivity with in-built Wi-Fi, OTA updates, dual-zone climate control, powered driver’s seat with memory function, auto park assist, seven airbags, and Level 2 ADAS suite.
As of now, the BE 6 is offered with a starting price of Rs 18.90 lakh (ex-showroom) making it more expensive than most of its current rivals, such as the Hyundai Creta Electric (Rs 17.99 lakh).
The XEV 9e also comes with two packs as of now with modern tech and charming exterior. Though the features update on Pack 2 is yet to be revealed, we can expect modern charm from it.
The features of the Pack One version offer triple 12.3-inch screens which include a co-driver screen, a central hub for infotainment, a digital driver's display, wireless Android Auto, and Apple CarPlay, with pre-installed OTT apps.
The design of Pack Three is more premium and features leatherette upholstery, a layered dashboard, three 12.3-inch screens, a panoramic glass roof, multi-zone AC, ventilated and powered front seats, head-up display, and a Harman Kardon audio system with 16 speakers.
For Mahindra XEV 9e's Rs 21.90 lakh-30.50 lakh (ex-showroom) will be competitive against the expected upcoming SUVs like the Tata Harrier EV.
Tata Altroz 2025 facelift teased with refreshed design, new features like 10.25-inch screen, LED lights, and 6 airbags. Launching on May 22.
