Mahindra Sales Report January 2026 - 63,000+ SUVs Sold, 25% YoY Sales Growth
Mahindra sold 63,510 SUVs in January 2026 YoY sales growth of 25 percent Over 93,000 Bookings for XUV 7XO and XEV 9S in 4 hours
Mahindra & Mahindra has announced that its overall auto sales for the month of January 2026 stood at 104,309 vehicles, registering an impressive year-on-year sales growth of 24 percent including exports. The big news is that the homegrown UV maker has sold 63,510 SUVs in the domestic passenger segment last month as compared to 50,659 vehicles in January 2025. The company has registered an impressive 25 per cent YoY sales growth in the passenger vehicle category.
Commenting on the sales, Nalinikanth Gollagunta, CEO, Automotive Division, M&M Ltd., “Building on the strong momentum of last year's performance, we began the year on a strong note in January by achieving SUV sales of 63,510 units, a growth of 25% and LCV< 3.5T sales of 27,656 units, a growth of 22%. The total vehicle sales stand at 104,309 units, a 24% year-on-year growth.
In the current financial year, that’s FY26, Mahindra has reported a total sales of 539986 SUVs as against 453019 vehicles in the same period in FY25. The company has recorded an impressive sales growth of 19 percent.
Mahindra is also receiving an overwhelming response for its latest SUVs, including the Mahindra XUV 7XO and XEV 9S. Mahindra opened bookings for these two SUVs on 14th January. The company received 93,689 bookings for a booking value of Rs 20,500 crore, a record breaking milestone in just 4 hours.
