Mahindra Thar Roxx Star EDN gets several visual upgrades to stand out from the regular model. It features a piano black front grille and piano black alloy wheels, giving it a more premium look.
Mahindra has also introduced a new Citrine Yellow shade as the highlight colour for this edition. Other colour options include Tango Red, Everest White, and Stealth Black.
Inside, the Thar Roxx Star EDN comes with an all-black leatherette interior with suede accents, enhancing the cabin’s sporty and premium feel.
Key features include ventilated front seats, a sliding armrest, 60:40 split rear seats with recline, fully automatic climate control, a panoramic sunroof, and a surround-view camera.
The SUV is well-equipped on the tech front. It gets a 10.2-inch touchscreen infotainment system, a fully digital instrument cluster, and AdrenoX connected car technology with Alexa integration.
Music lovers will appreciate the nine-speaker Harman Kardon audio system, which adds to the overall premium experience.
Mechanically, the Thar Roxx Star EDN continues with the same engines as the standard Roxx. The 2.0-litre TGDi petrol engine produces 176bhp and 380Nm and is available only with an automatic gearbox.
The 2.2-litre diesel engine delivers 172bhp and up to 400Nm of torque and can be had with both manual and automatic transmissions. All variants of the Star EDN are offered with rear-wheel drive only.
With design-focused updates and added comfort features, the Mahindra Thar Roxx Star EDN is aimed at buyers looking for a more exclusive and stylish version of the rugged SUV, without any changes to its proven powertrain.
