Maruti Suzuki is gearing up for the launch of its first-ever electric vehicle (EV) in India, called e Vitara. Before its debut in India which is scheduled to take place at the 2025 Auto Expo, we got the new Maruti e Vitara teaser. Through the teaser, you can see a sneak look at the fresh look exterior and interior as well.
With a thorough look at the teaser, only the centre console can be seen. The e Vitara interior is seen to be getting two squarish cupholders as well as a rotary knob for the drive selector, and behind the drive selector are the buttons for the electronic parking brake and auto hold. There are also four buttons flanking the drive selector – single-pedal driving, snow mode, and drive mode.
The car will come with interior features along with hill ascent and descent control functions, vertically stacked central AC vents, and a panoramic sunroof.
In the teaser of the car, it can be seen that the e-Vitara will get Y-shaped LED DRLs and taillamps which are similar to the global-spec model. It also features new dual-tone alloy wheels, an integrated spoiler, a shark-fin antenna, an e Vitara badge on the tailgate, and a rear wiper and washer.
As for the battery pack, the brand is yet to reveal but it is expected that the car will have 61kWh and 49kWh battery packs paired with a single electric motor.
It is expected, that as for the price it is likely to start from Rs 20 lakh. As the debut at the Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025 is getting closer, more information about the Maruti Suzuki e Vitara will be revealed. It is one of the most anticipated cars to make its debut in India and directly rivals the upcoming Hyundai Creta Electric, MG ZS EV, Mahindra BE 6, and the Tata Curvv EV.
