MG Majestor launch on April 20 Fortuner rival with big upgrades Luxury SUV with strong off-road tech
JSW MG Motor India is gearing up to launch the new MG Majestor in India on April 20, 2026.
Bookings are already open for Rs 41,000, and deliveries are expected to begin from May 2026.
Early buyers will benefit from a “5-5-5 Peace of Mind” package, which includes a 5-year warranty, 5 years of roadside assistance, and 5 free labour services.

The Majestor will be positioned above the MG Gloster in MG’s lineup, making it the brand’s flagship ICE SUV.
It will directly rival popular full-size SUVs like the Toyota Fortuner, offering more features and modern tech.
With an expected price of Rs 40 lakh to Rs 45 lakh (ex-showroom), MG is aiming to attract buyers looking for a premium yet value-packed alternative.
The MG Majestor stands out with its massive dimensions and bold styling.
It measures over 5 metres in length, making it one of the largest SUVs in its class.
Design highlights include a new “Mosaic Matrix” grille, vertical LED DRLs, sleek headlamps, and a connected LED tail-lamp setup.
The SUV also gets 19-inch alloy wheels, roof rails, and a muscular stance that adds to its road presence.
One of the biggest highlights of the Majestor is its off-road capability.
It features triple differential locks (front, centre, and rear), which is rare in this segment.
There is also an M-Crawl system that helps in low-speed off-road driving by managing throttle and braking automatically.
With 10 terrain modes and a water-wading capacity of 810 mm, the Majestor is designed to handle challenging conditions with ease.

Inside, the Majestor offers a feature-rich and premium cabin.
It comes with dual 12.3-inch displays, a JBL sound system, and a panoramic sunroof.
The front seats offer ventilation and an 8-mode massage function, along with 12-way electric adjustment.
Other highlights include wireless charging, three-zone climate control, and both 6- and 7-seat layout options.
The MG Majestor is powered by a 2.0-litre twin-turbo diesel engine.
It produces around 215 hp and 478 Nm of torque, paired with an 8-speed automatic transmission.
Buyers can choose between rear-wheel-drive and four-wheel-drive variants depending on their needs.
The SUV will come equipped with Level 2 ADAS features.
These include adaptive cruise control, lane keep assist, and automatic emergency braking, adding to overall safety and convenience.
