Honda has finally launched the most-anticipated Amaze in a new avatar. The latest compact sedan, in its third generation, is available on sale at Rs 7.99 Lakh (ex-showroom). It gets camera-based ADAS, which is first-in-segment. With a modern design, spacious cabin, and tech-loaded interior, the new-gen Amaze feels more premium than ever. Get more insights!
With the launch of the new-gen Amaze, Honda has introduced some different designs and features. For instance, its front fascia reminds us of the Honda Elevate, while some of the design elements are influenced by the Honda City and global-spec Honda Accord.
The latest sub-4m sedan highlights a massive hexagonal grille, revised bumper, sleeker LEDS headlamps and DRLs, revamped rear bumper, fresh alloy wheels, shark fin antenna, and sleeker LED taillamps with blade pattern.
In terms of features, the new Amaze has a front armrest, floating 8-inch infotainment system, 7-inch digital instrument cluster, wireless charger, automatic climate control, Type C charging port, ventilated seat cover with massager, six airbags, lane watch camera, front parking sensors, and segment-first ADAS suite. It comes with a boot capacity of 416-litre.
The all-new Amaze comes with six exterior paint choices including Platinum White Pearl, Meteoroid Gray Metallic, Radiant Red Metallic, Obsidian Blue Pearl, Lunar Silver Metallic, and Golden Brown Metallic.
The third-generation Amaze is powered by the 1.2-litre naturally-aspirated petrol engine which is now upgraded to be E20 fuel compliant. Paired with a 5-speed MT and CVT, it can produce a power of 87 bhp and 110 Nm of torque. The new Amaze can offer a fuel efficiency of 18.65 kmpl with MT and 19.46 kmpl for the CVT option.
