Gets new design updates with illuminated elements Adds advanced AI tech and more comfort features India launch likely in early 2027
Mercedes-Benz has unveiled the updated Mercedes-Maybach S-Class, bringing a fresh set of design changes, more luxury features, and updated engine options. The new model builds on the recently updated Mercedes-Benz S-Class but adds extra exclusivity and comfort expected from the Maybach badge.
The new Maybach S-Class gets subtle yet premium design changes. The front grille is now 20 percent larger and comes with LED illumination. It also features Maybach’s signature vertical slats and a glowing Maybach wordmark.
The iconic Mercedes star on the bonnet is now illuminated, adding to the car’s road presence. The headlamps get a new design with three-pointed star LED signatures and rose gold accents, while the tail lamps follow a similar theme.
The sedan also gets new 20-inch and 21-inch alloy wheels, along with an illuminated Maybach logo on the pillar. It continues to be longer than the standard S-Class, offering more space for rear passengers.

Mercedes has expanded its ‘Manufaktur’ personalisation options for the Maybach S-Class. Buyers can now choose from a wider range of exterior colours and dual-tone paint schemes.
This allows customers to create a more unique and personalised ultra-luxury sedan.
Inside, the Maybach S-Class continues to prioritise rear seat comfort. The rear seats can recline up to 43 degrees and come with heating, ventilation, and massage functions.
The dashboard now features a large Superscreen setup with a unique Maybach theme and rose gold highlights.
Buyers also get more upholstery options, including extended leather and a new vegan interior option for the first time. Rear passengers now get two smartphone-style remotes to control various features.
The updated Maybach S-Class introduces advanced AI features, including a conversational assistant powered by ChatGPT, Bing, and Gemini.
It also uses a new electronic architecture with multiple supercomputers to manage infotainment, safety, and driving functions.
The special Maybach drive mode continues to focus on delivering a softer and smoother ride.

Mercedes has also introduced the Maybach Night Series version. This variant features darker styling elements, including dark chrome finishes and black alloy wheels with Maybach logos.
It is designed for buyers looking for a more bold and unique appearance.
The new Maybach S-Class offers multiple engine options globally:
For India, the V8 version is expected, while the V12 could be offered as a limited CBU import.
The updated Maybach S-Class is expected to launch in India in early 2027. The S580 variant is likely to be locally assembled, but prices could go beyond ₹3 crore due to added features and technology.
