Skoda Auto is all set to launch its first-ever electric car - the Enyaq in our market. After releasing the design sketches a few days back, the Czech automaker has dropped a quick teaser of Enyaq, hinting at its imminent arrival. The electric SUV will make its global debut in early 2025 and will come to India in late 2025 as a Completely Built Unit (CBU). Ahead of that, the Enyaq electric SUV will be showcased at the Bharat Mobility Global Expo in January 2025. other Skoda cars such as new Kylaq, Octavia RS, and new-gen Kodiaq will also arrive at the show.
Here is everything we know so far about the Skoda Enyaq electric SUV:
Both the 2025 Enyaq and the Enyaq Coupe will boast the brand's new modern solid design language. It will highlight the illuminated Tech-Deck front fascia, replacing the traditional Skoda grille. The facelift version will also introduce low-set LED projector headlamps and a bigger LED DRL spanning the width of the face. The LED taillights will also be connected by a sleek LED strip going through the width of the tailgate. Other design changes will include new & lower bumpers, dark chrome accents for SKODA lettering, and side skirts.
The fresh version of the Skoda Enyaq is expected to carry a battery pack of 77 kWh or 82 kWh based on the variants.
The Enyaq Coupe RS will have both battery units with a WLTP range of 497 km while the Enyaq 80 could get an 82 kWh battery in India which will deliver a range of over 500 km on a full charge. The Enyaq iV version will get a 77 kWh battery unit, offering a range of around 513 km per charge.
