Nissan has reached a significant milestone with a total of 50,000 export sales of the Magnite. The Managing Director of Nissan Motor India said that the automaker not only makes its mark in India but in the global market. The carmaker has also announced that the naturally aspired engine is now E20 compliant.
A recent India strategy announced was made including the growth of domestic and export volumes to help put the country as a major export hub. The introduction of the LHD version of the Magnite has increased the exports considerably, since the first dispatch in January 2025. The automakers said that this 50,000 export sale achievement highlights the growing trust in the brand's ability to deliver quality, innovation, and performance.
Nissan has been planning on bringing future-ready mobility solutions, aligning with evolving environmental standards.
As the Renault Kiger is offered with a CNG option, it is expected that the Magnite will soon be launched with a similar powertrain option. The Magnite is offered with either a 1-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine or a 1-litre turbo-petrol engine of now.
We are expecting that the SUV will have a CNG engine will be offered with a naturally aspirated petrol engine with a manual transmission. As for the performance output, it is likely to be lower compared to the petrol variants.
