Most powerful and dynamic Cayenne model; Flagship model of the Cayenne line-up; Fastest Porsche SUV
Porsche India has introduced the Turbo GT variant of its flagship SUV, the Cayenne in India. Priced at Rs 2.57 crore (ex-showroom), this is the most powerful variant in the SUVs line-up.
Up front, the changes are limited to a new reprofiled bumper that gets larger air dams and a more prominent spoiler. Towards the side, we see new 22-inch GT design wheels finished in Neodyme along with a new more prominent black wheel arch extension. Moving to the rear, we again see functional additions like a modified roof spoiler and a retractable boot lip spoiler with carbon-fibre side wing elements which add 40 kilograms of additional downforce to the vehicle. Other notable changes include a central exit for the titanium exhaust and carbon fibre mirror caps.
On the inside, the four-wheeler gets a new sports steering wheel with Sports Response button, eight-way adjustable sport seats in the front and a sport rear seat system with two seats as standard. Further, the seat centre panels are finished in GT-specific perforated Alcantara with contrast accents in Neodyme or Arctic Grey and ‘turbo GT’ lettering on their headrests.
The company is debuting its next-generation Porsche Communication Management (PCM) system with this four-wheeler. The new infotainment unit offers improved performance, new user interface and a new operating logic.
Compared to the standard Cayenne Turbo, the Turbo GT model features prominent upgrades to the chassis and suspension giving the SUV ultimate dynamism. Its ride height has been decreased by 17mm while the suspension has been stiffened by 15 percent. In addition, the vehicle also gets an active roll stabilisation system and rear axle steering.
It comes powered by a 4.0-litre, twin-turbo V8 petrol engine producing a maximum power output of 640bhp and 850Nm of peak torque. The car completes the 0-100 kmph sprint in under 3.3 seconds.
The Cayenne Turbo GT rivals the likes of the Lamborghini Urus and the Audi RS Q8 in India.
MG Hector petrol variants now E20 fuel compatible; 2025 model launched with no price hike, meeting new emission norms and supporting sustainable mobility.
