Suzuki eVX Revealed with Updated Exterior and All New Interior Design

Following the unveiling of the next-gen Swift, Suzuki cars has now revealed the eVX electric SUV in a more production-ready form. The new eVX was showcased in India by Maruti Suzuki at the 2023 Indian Auto Expo as its first EV. This time, Suzuki is also giving us a glimpse into what the interior will look like.

Suzuki eVX Concept: What Does It Look Like?

The updated Maruti Suzuki eVX concept features a fresh front end design with sleek Y-motif LED headlights and DRLs, a thin black strip for a grille and a chunky bumper with vertical air intakes on either side. At the side, the SUV gets muscular flared wheel arches, new alloy wheel design, flush fitting door handles, and aluminium running boards. The rear end also gets Y-shaped LED tail lights that are connected by an LED light bar, a sculpted bootlid, and an integrated aluminium skid plate in the rear bumper.

Moving inside, the Suzuki eVX has a minimalist interior, with the dashboard dominated by a huge display that incorporates both the digital instrument cluster and infotainment system. There are new vertical slats for AC vents, rotary dial knob for changing gears, and a twin-spoke airplane-yoke style steering wheel.

Suzuki eVX Concept: Powertrain Details

The Japanese automaker is yet to officially reveal the production-spec eVX’s powertrain details. Maruti earlier at the 2023 Indian Auto Expo had stated that the electric SUV will get a 60kWh battery pack which offers a range of up to 550 kms. It will power a dual-electric motor setup, one on each axle, enabling the eVX to have AWD.

Suzuki eVX Concept: Expected Launch and Rivals

Maruti is planning to bring the eVX to India by mid- to late-2025. It will be priced around Rs 25 lakh (ex-showroom). Upon launch, the eVX will rival the likes of the MG ZS EV and the Hyundai Kona Electric.
