Tata Motors had started accepting bookings for the Harrier EV in the country on 2nd July 2025. The electric SUV has received an overwhelming response from car buyers, as it recorded 10,000 bookings on the day of launch. The Tata Harrier EV’s direct rival, the Mahindra XEV 9e, had received 16,900 bookings on the day of launch.

The company has also started production of the Harrier EV. While the monthly production targets of the electric SUV are yet to be revealed, Tata Motors is confident to meet the potential demand. There is an ongoing shortage of rare earth metals impacting production of several EVs in India as well as in global markets; however, Tata Motors said that it currently does not face any immediate crisis.
Tata Motors has confirmed that the deliveries for the Harrier EV will begin in July 2025. While the exact details are yet to be revealed, Tata dealers stated that the deliveries of the Harrier EV could begin in the second half of July 2025.
The Tata Harrier EV is available with two battery choices - 65 kWh Medium Range and 75 kWh Long Range. The smaller battery pack is available with a single-motor, RWD set-up and offers 235bhp and 315Nm of torque. The Long Range 75kWh version is available with both RWD and QWD or AWD layout. The AWD model with dual-toro setup offers a combined power and torque of 391bhp and 504Nm, respectively.
65 kWh RWD - 538 km
75kWh RWD - 627 km
75kWh AWD - 622 km
The Tata Harrier EV is priced in the range of Rs 21.49 lakh and extends up to Rs 32.24 lakh, ex-showroom, Pan India. The electric SUV directly rivals the Mahindra XEV 9e and BYD Atto 3.
