A new set of spy images of the next-gen Kia Seltos have hit the web-world. These spy shots reveal interesting details on the styling and size of the SUV. It is clearly visible that the new Seltos will come with radical changes in terms of styling and size. It is reported that the SUV will come with full LED lighting set-up, large 19-inch wheels and wider sunroof.

The new Kia Seltos comes with an all-new design, which seems inspired by the Telluride full-size SUV in global markets. It carries a more masculine and boxy styling instead of the angular and rounded profile of the current model. The SUV has been caught testing in North America, revealing its full LED lighting set-up.
The SUV has started to lose camouflage, suggesting a near debut. It comes with a Telluride-like wider grille and squared-shaped headlamps with orange colour DRLs (Daytime Running Lights). The India-spec model will carry similar set-up, but the headlamp internals will be different.

There is a flatter bonnet and a flat nose that houses a two-part grille. To complement its overall design, the new Seltos has flatter roof and smoother lines along with thick cladding around the wheel arches. Also visible are the large glass areas and body-coloured B and C-pillars.
The rear also has a squarish profile, featuring an all-new tailgate design and Telluride-like LED taillights. Other design highlights include flared wheel arches with prominent cladding, shark fin antenna and roof-integrated spoiler.
The interiors of the new Kia Seltos are still under the wraps. The current model is already feature-loaded and premium in nature, and the same is expected with the second-gen model. The cabin layout could be inspired by the bigger Kia models, including Carnival and EV9. It is likely to get a larger connected screen that houses a 12.3-inch digital instrument console, a 12.3-inch infotainment unit and a 5-inch climate control display.
In terms of features, the new Seltos is likely to get dual-zone climate control, a panoramic sunroof, electrically adjustable driver’s seat, ventilated front seats, reclining and sliding functions for second row and others. The SUV will have LEVEL 2 ADAS and front parking sensors.
The new-gen Kia Seltos for India will initially come with petrol and diesel engine options. The engine choices could include a 1.5L NA petrol, a 1.5L turbo petrol and a 1.5L turbo diesel. Both manual and automatic gearbox choices will be on offer.
The SUV will also receive a strong hybrid engine, but the India launch will take place only in 2027. The global-spec model is likely to get a 141hp, 1.6L hybrid engine with a dedicated electronic all-time four-wheel (e-AWD) system. The India-spec model is likely to get a different hybrid engine based on the 1.5L NA petrol unit.
