We informed you earlier that Skoda will launch the long-awaited Kushaq facelift in January 2026. The SUV will receive significant changes in terms of design and interiors along with a longer list of features. A new media report reveals that the 2026 Skoda Kushaq facelift will come with a segment-first Massage function for the rear seats.
The report further claims that the top-spec Kushaq with 1.5L TSI engine will be equipped with all-4 disc brakes. The new Kushaq will also get a panoramic sunroof and LEVEL 2 ADAS tech. The ADAS features will include autonomous emergency braking, lane assist, blind spot monitoring, adaptive cruise control and others.
Inside the cabin, the new Hyundai Creta rival will come with an upgraded instrument console and infotainment touchscreen. Skoda is likely to offer new graphics for the two digital screens. Moreover, the SUV is likely to get an improved air conditioning system and a 360-degree surround view camera.
Majority of the design changes will be made to its front fascia, which is likely to be inspired by the new Skoda Kodiaq. The SUV is expected to get a more prominent front grille, an updated internals for the headlamps and a revised front bumper along new alloys.
The Skoda Kushaq facelift won’t receive any mechanical changes, as it will continue to be offered with a 115hp, 1.0-litre, 3-cylinder, turbo petrol and a 150hp, 1.5-litre, 4-cylinder, turbo petrol. Transmission choices include a 6-speed manual, a 6-speed torque converter automatic (1.0L petrol) and a 7-speed DSG (1.5L petrol only). Few reports suggest that Skoda could replace the 6-speed torque converter automatic gearbox with a new 8-speed unit.
