The all-new Kia Syros SUV has been globally unveiled today. Positioned between Sonet and Seltos, the new sub-4m SUV boasts its unique boxy styling and offers more premium features than Sonet. The new Syros price will be revealed in January 2025 at the upcoming Bharat Mobility Show. Meanwhile, it bookings will begin from January and deliveries are scheduled to start from early Feburary 2025.

Visually, the new Syros SUV looks like a minivan due to its tall and boxy appearance. Upfront, it highlights vertically positioned cube-shaped LED headlamps with DRLs.

The SUV also has flush door handles, roof rails, squared-off wheel arches, and 17-inch diamond-cut alloy wheels, and L-shaped LED taillights.

It also has a multi-layered dashboard with 30-inch trinitry panoramic display panel, remote window ventilation, call-centre assisted navigation, 360-degree camera, Over-the-Air (OTA) Sofware updates, and Level 2 ADAS. It offers SOS Support, vehicle tracking system, and real-time diagnostics.
Other essential features include a fully digital instrument cluster, two-spoke steering wheel, multiple Type-C USB ports, ambient lighting, wireless charging, Harman-Kardon premium 8 speaker sound system, multi-purpose storage, and cup holders.
The South Korean manufacturer offers ADAS Level 2 with 16 autonomous features incuding Blind View Monitor, Smart Cruise Control with Stop & Go, Lane Keep Assist, and Forward Collision Avoidance Assist. Besides, it has 20 safety features as standard.
Kia's 2.0 SUV - the Syros could be offered in 6 variants. These include HTK, HTK (O), HTK+, HTX, HTX+, and HTX+ (O). However, the brand has not confirmed it yet.

Based on the reinforced K1 platform, Kia Syros could take power from two engine options; 1.0-litre turbo petrol (118 bhp/172 Nm) and diesel units (114 bhp/250 Nm). These engines are paired with multiple transmission options such as 6-speed MT, 7-speed DCT, and 6-speed torque converter automatic gearboxes.
