• BYD is likely to showcase its existing India lineup and cutting-edge Blade battery at the upcoming Delhi Auto Expo 2023 • The Chinese automaker is expected to showcase some models that are also on sale in the European market
BYD is making its appearance at the Delhi Auto Expo 2023 with its upcoming cars and SUVs. The Chinese automaker is likely to showcase the E6 MPV, Atto 3 SUV, and Blade battery pack technology that powers both these vehicles. The interesting fact is that the Chinese manufacturer will be the only brand to show its existing range of vehicles at the auto show. This will include BYD Han, BYD Seal, and BYD Tang which are already available in the European Market. These models are expected to be seen with dynamic looks and advanced specifications.

In India, BYD has been only offering their utility electric vehicles; Atto 3 and E6. While internationally, the Chinese carmaker has impressive sedans to offer that are loaded with tech. Models like BYD Han that are available in the European market have all the features noted in Atto 3. We can expect that BYD will showcase the Han at the exhibition which has amazing specifications. For instance, the vehicle has a 517PS motor which accelerates from 0 to 100 kmph in just 3.9 seconds, making it the fastest hybrid sedan. Besides, the WLTP-claimed range is 521 kms.

Another sedan with dynamic looks, Seal is a fully electric model built on BYD’s latest vehicle platform. We can expect to see this model at the motor show. The model features a premium cabin with an impressive layout. The top speed of the Seal is limited to 180 kmph which can be accomplished in just 4 seconds. When fully charged, the BYD Seal can travel around 650 kms on a single charge. Power figures for the vehicle stand at 522 bhp with 670 Nm of peak torque.

Tang is an upmarket SUV from BYD with three rows of seating. Similar to BYD Seal and BYD Han, Tang also has dynamic looks and impressive specifications. The first-gen BYD Tang was introduced in 2014 while the second-gen debuted in April 2018. Both of these received facelifts in 2021 and 2022 respectively. The facelifted version of the Tang EV offers a maximum power output of 509 bhp and 680 Nm of torque. The model can accelerate from 0 to 100 kmph in just 4.4 seconds. With the huge 108.8 kWh battery pack, it can travel up to 635 kms if fully charged.
