Mahindra XUV700 facelift details revealed with bold design updates Triple-screen dashboard, ventilated rear seats, premium features Expected 2026 launch with higher demand in the 7-seater SUV segment
Mahindra XUV700 has been one of the most successful SUVs in India since its launch in August 2021. It has built a strong reputation in the midsize SUV space, crossing sales milestones at a rapid pace. Now, with the upcoming Mahindra XUV700 facelift, expectations are running high as Mahindra prepares for another big chapter in its SUV journey.

In less than four years, the XUV700 has become a blockbuster for Mahindra. By July 2025, the SUV crossed the 3 lakh sales milestone, including 291,712 units sold domestically and 13,013 units in export markets. Earlier in March 2025, the SUV had already surpassed the 2.5 lakh sales mark, adding 50,000 units in just four months. On average, Mahindra sells nearly 6,600 units of the XUV700 every month, proving its consistent demand in India.
Mahindra XUV700 facelift update has been revealed multiple times, and the latest test mules hint at noticeable design changes. The SUV now gets a bolder multi-slat grille, sharper dual-pod LED headlamps, and a redesigned bumper with a more prominent skid plate.
On the side profile, the Mahindra new car launch will introduce new alloy wheel designs while retaining the SUV’s bold proportions. At the rear, the facelift could move to a split LED tail-lamp design with vertical extensions for a refreshed identity.
One of the biggest talking points is the new Mahindra XUV700 facelift triple screen setup, similar to the layout offered in the Mahindra XEV 9e. The interior will also feature dual-tone black and beige upholstery with premium beige seats.
Among the Mahindra XUV700 facelift details, buyers can expect ventilated rear seats, an additional wireless charger, and upgraded connected features. The SUV will continue with its luxury package of a panoramic sunroof, Sony 12-speaker system, 6-way powered driver seat, ventilated front seats, and wireless Android Auto/Apple CarPlay.
Mahindra XUV700 facelift details revealed so far suggest that its strong safety package will remain intact. This includes up to 7 airbags, electronic stability control, ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance System), TPMS, ISOFIX mounts, 360-degree camera, and auto headlamps.
Under the hood, the XUV700 facelift will continue with the existing engine lineup:
2.0-litre turbo-petrol (200 PS, 380 Nm) - 6-speed MT/AT
2.2-litre diesel - 155 PS (FWD, MT), 185 PS (FWD/ AWD, AT), torque up to 450 Nm
This means no mechanical changes, but the SUV’s balanced mix of performance and efficiency should keep it competitive in the upcoming 7-seater SUVs in India category.
The XUV700 facelift launch date is expected in 2026, just as the SUV completes four years in India. With all the updates, the Mahindra XUV700 facelift price is likely to see a slight premium over the current range of Rs 19.64 lakh - Rs 25.14 lakh (ex-showroom).
Once launched, the updated XUV700 will continue to compete with the Tata Safari, Hyundai Alcazar, MG Hector Plus, and Mahindra Scorpio N.
