Mahindra XUV700 facelift Launch Likely by December 2025; Top Changes Explained

We informed you earlier that Mahindra will launch 10 new SUVs, including EVs, next-generation and facelifts of existing models in the next 2-3 years. The popular XUV 700, Thar 3-door and Bolero Neo will soon receive mid-life upgrades. Our sources reveal that the Mahindra XUV700 facelift is likely to be launched in the country by December 2025. 


Mahindra XUV700 facelift - Top Changes


The XUV700 facelift has been spotted testing numerous times on the Indian roads. The spy images confirm that the 3-row SUV will receive cosmetic design and interior changes along with a longer list of features. Majority of the design changes will be made to the front fascia.

It will have a revised front grille and an updated bumper, and a new LED headlamp set-up with a redesigned C-shaped LED DRLs signature. Other design changes will include new alloy wheels, a new rear bumper and an updated tail-lights. 


Inside the cabin, the new Mahindra XUV700 facelift will have an all-new dashboard layout inspired by the XEV 9e. It will have a triple screen dashboard comprising a central infotainment unit, an instrument panel and a co-occupant entertainment unit. 


The SUV is likely to get Harman/Kardon speakers with Dolby Atmos audio tech for an immersive sound experience. This time around, the XUV700 could get a captain seats in the second-row with ventilation function. The SUV will come with auto dimming IRVM. It is expected to get an ADAS LEVEL 2+ system along with self parking features, and a front parking sensor. 


Engine Options


The 2025 Mahindra XUV700 facelift will continue to be offered with the 2.0L turbo petrol and 2.2L turbo diesel. While the former is good for 197bhp and 380Nm of torque, the oil burner produces 182bhp and 450Nm of torque. Transmission choices include a 6-speed manual and a 6-speed torque converter automatic.
