Pulled 406-tonne train to set world record Bookings open at Rs 41,000 Launch expected soon in India
JSW MG Motor India has made headlines with its upcoming flagship SUV, the MG Majestor.
The SUV has officially entered the Guinness World Records by pulling the heaviest train ever hauled by an SUV on rail.
The MG Majestor successfully pulled a massive 406.4-tonne train over a distance of 300 feet.
This record-breaking run took place on an operational railway track between Kakapora and Awantipora in Jammu and Kashmir.
Notably, the feat went beyond the required benchmark of 400 tonnes and 100 feet, setting a new global standard.

It produces 215.5 PS of power and 478.5 Nm of torque, paired with an 8-speed automatic gearbox.
The SUV also gets advanced off-road hardware like triple differential locks, a 4WD system with multiple terrain modes, crawl control, 219 mm ground clearance and 810 mm water-wading capacity.
Positioned as India’s first D+ segment SUV, the Majestor combines rugged capability with premium features.
It comes equipped with Level 2 ADAS, offering advanced safety and driver assistance.
The cabin is expected to deliver a premium experience with modern technology and comfort-focused features.
MG has already opened pre-reservations for the Majestor at Rs 41,000.
The first 3,000 customers will get a special ownership package that includes:
Early buyers will also receive priority deliveries and exclusive access to preview events and test drives.
