New Venue to come with existing engine options Diesel gets automatic option Gets 3 Traction Control & Drive Modes Launch on November 4, 2025
Hyundai has officially revealed the engine specifications for the upcoming new-gen Venue compact SUV. Scheduled to be launched on November 4, 2025, the new-gen Hyundai Venue will come with 3 engine choices, including petrol and diesel. Interested customers can book the new Venue online or at Hyundai dealership by paying a token amount of Rs 25,000.

Hyundai has confirmed that the new Venue will be offered with 3 engine options - a 1.2L NA petrol, a 1.0L turbocharged petrol and a 1.5L CRDi diesel. The entry-level 1.2L engine is paired with a 5-speed manual gearbox, while the turbo petrol engine is paired with a 6-sped manual & a 7-speed DCT transmission with idle stop and go (ISG).
Hyundai has confirmed that the diesel Venue will have a 6-speed automatic gearbox option. It will be a 6-speed torque converter unit, which we have already seen on the Kia Syros.

The new Hyundai Venue will come with traction control and drive modes. For improved traction and stability, the new Venue gets 3 traction control modes - Sand, Mud and Snow. The SUV has 3 driving modes - ECO, NORMAL and SPORT. Adding to it, the new Hyundai Venue comes with paddle shifters to add a sportier touch to its performance.
