Renault Duster earns 5-star BNCAP rating for adults and children. Adult protection: 30.49/32, Child protection: 45/49 with CRS. Airbags, ESC, and ISOFIX seats make it a family-friendly SUV.
The new Renault Duster has officially achieved a 5-star safety rating from BNCAP, making it one of the safest SUVs in its segment. The rating reflects strong performance in both adult and child occupant protection, underlining Renault’s commitment to safety.

In crash tests, the Duster scored 30.49 out of 32 for adult occupant protection. This includes a frontal offset deformable barrier test score of 14.49/16 and a side movable deformable barrier test score of 16/16. These results show that the SUV provides excellent protection to front and rear passengers during collisions.

The Duster’s safety is backed by a high-strength steel structure that absorbs impact energy. Additional safety features include dual front airbags, side and curtain airbags, driver knee airbag, ABS with EBD, ESC, traction control, and hill start assist.
With ISOFIX anchors, rear door child locks, and strong crash performance, the Renault Duster is ideal for families seeking a secure and reliable SUV on Indian roads.
