Gets sporty styling updates inside out; Gets more equipment on the inside
Giving a fresh breath of life to its sub-compact SUV segment, Nissan India has launched the Magnite Red Edition in India. The limited-edition model is available in both the natural aspirated petrol and turbo petrol engine options and packs in cosmetic updates along with more equipment.
Like its sister car, the Renault Kiger which received a similar treatment earlier in the year, the Magnite’s exterior changes are limited to new body graphics across the car. The four-wheeler gets red accent on the the front grille, front bumper cladding, wheel arch and side body cladding. In addition, the vehicle also gets new Red Edition badges prominently on the car. On the inside, the four-wheeler gets a dual tone red and black dashboard, red accents on the door side armrest and the centre console.
Added equipment on the model is wireless charging, ambient lighting and illuminated door sills among others.
In addition to this the car gets 8.0-inch touchscreen infotainment system with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, full-digital instrument cluster and a rear-view camera.
The Magnite Red Edition will continue to 1.0-litre NA engine with 72 bhp and the other 1.0-litre turbo petrol engine with 100 bhp. Both engines are available with a 5-speed manual, while the turbo engine is available with a CVT option as well.
The Nissan Magnite Red Edition, KIA Sonet, Hyundai Venue and the Maruti Suzuki Brezza in its segment.
