To state, in July 2022 Bentley had already broken its 2021 profit records whereas the Special Vehicle Operations of JLR lacked behind.

SVO Division to Boost Profits

Jaguar Land Rover hopes that the SVO (Special Vehicle Operations) division will boost overall profits, helping development of future models. It was at the end of 2022 that JLR was able to post a profitable quarter, mainly due to the good sales of the Range Rover line up in the US.

The brand is also planning to transition to an agency model by late 2024, eventually dealing with customers directly rather than via dealerships. JLR UK Sales Director, Patrick McGillycuddy recently stated, “Alongside exceptional vehicles like the Lansdowne Edition, we're developing locations, services and events that provide unique and exclusive touchpoints for our clients”.
